Biography

Dennis Borst has more than 20 years in the media, promotions, CRM and incentives world. He has extensive experience with driving customer behavior, increasing employee performance and establishing brand identities. In the past Dennis has worked with the NFL Gold Cup Soccer, Arm Wrestling, NCAA and Arena League Football on promotions and sweepstakes. Additionally, Dennis has experience with customer acquisition and loyalty programs for major automobile manufacturers, wireless communications companies, pharmaceutical companies and dozens of other Fortune 1,000 companies.

For the past 15 years Dennis has been associated with Dennis F. Holt, founder of Western International Media. Together with Dennis Holt he established relationships with major companies in providing them access to the sports and media audience. Additionally, Dennis has extensive experience with Employee Incentives, Business 2 Business Incentives and Consumer Programs that attract, keep and reward people for their participation and performance as employees and/or customers. This skill was honed during his tenure in marketing for a major pharmaceutical manufacturer during his early days just after college.

 

It was also there that Dennis first realized the importance of establishment of “brand identity.” Today, with technologies segmenting the traditional advertising options, Corporate Branding is rapidly becoming the driving force in any product launch, and Dennis has been providing his expertise to hundreds of companies in this arena for more than two decades.

Dennis BorstMost importantly, Dennis realized the potential of gift cards as rewards and incentives in marketing to consumers and in driving employee performance. From 1988 to 1992 Dennis managed the JCPenney gift card program and since 1992 has managed the B2B gift card program for Foot Locker, Champs Sports, ESPNshop and Steiner sports.

Dennis is a graduate of Wayne State University, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry. Additionally, he is a published author with numerous articles on Corporate Branding, Customer Loyalty, Database Marketing, Employee Recognition and Employee Involvement.

 

Dennis is a member of the Incentive Marketing Association, Advertising Specialty Institute, Promotional Products Association International, Association of Incentive Gift Card Providers, Society of Human Resource managers, World at Work and ACT.
